Sberbank IFRS net profit doubles to 348.3 bln rbl in July–September

MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank soared by 28.3% to 348.3 billion rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said on Thursday.

In January–September, the net profit soared by 70% on the year to 978.1 billion rubles.

Retail lending rose by 18.5% to 11.032 trillion rubles as of September 30, while corporate lending increased by 4.8% to 16.459 trillion rubles.

Retail deposits grew by 4.1% to 17.326 trillion rubles as of September 30 and corporate deposits rose 26.6% to 11.554 trillion rubles.
